Started Dogs
For those who want to to skip the messy and demanding puppy stages, we offer started dogs. Started hunting dogs have completed basic obedience training, collar conditioning, introduction to gunfire and conditioned hold. These young dogs have received extensive exposure to live and frozen birds , including pigeons, quail, pheasant and ducks and are doing basic retrieves to hand on land and water.
Our started pet dogs have completed basic obedience training. These dogs walk well on a leash and perform sit, down, place and recall They are house and crate trained and have received social and environmental conditioning
Retired Dogs and Rescues
Occasionally we have older adult dogs who are still ready for the occasional hunt or run on the beach but mostly are ready to curl up by the fire and snuggle with their family.
We also take in rescued and abandoned dogs with different levels of training and/or rehabilitation needs that we are happy to rehome to the right family.
